Refund & Return Policy

Mium sells digital products: marketplace cookbooks, credit packs, and recurring subscriptions (Mium Plus and Cookbook Club). This page explains our refund and return rules. It is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

Short version. All sales are final. Marketplace cookbook unlocks and credit packs are non-refundable and non-returnable once delivered. Subscriptions can be canceled to stop future renewals but past charges are not refunded by Mium. Statutory consumer rights that apply to you (for example, in the EU, the UK, Australia, and certain U.S. states) are preserved — this policy is in addition to those rights, not a replacement for them.

1. Marketplace cookbooks & credit packs — final sale

Cookbook unlocks and credit packs are digital goods delivered to your account immediately upon purchase. They are non-refundable and non-returnable. Once you unlock a cookbook or credits are added to your account balance, the sale is complete and no refund will be issued by Mium.

Marketplace credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash, fiat currency, or any other monetary instrument. Stipend credits granted with an active Mium Plus or Cookbook Club subscription follow the same rule and are not refunded if you cancel after they have been issued or used.

EU / UK consumers. Under Article 16(m) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK rules, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to digital content once performance has begun, provided the consumer expressly consents to immediate performance and acknowledges loss of the withdrawal right. By unlocking a cookbook or completing a credit pack purchase, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery is complete.

2. Subscriptions (Mium Plus & Cookbook Club)

You can cancel a Mium subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep your Pro entitlements until the end of the current paid period. Mium does not pro-rate or refund the unused portion of a paid period.

Where you bought your subscription determines who handles any refund:

The 7-day free trial on Mium Plus is offered to first-time subscribers only. You will not be charged during the trial period; the subscription auto-renews at the end of the trial unless you cancel before the trial ends. No refund is issued for charges that follow a trial you forgot to cancel; cancel through the platform you subscribed on to stop future renewals.

3. Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy limits or removes consumer rights that apply to you and cannot be waived by contract. Examples include:

If you believe the digital content you purchased is materially defective, broken, or fundamentally not as described, contact support@getmium.com with your account email, the date of purchase, and a description of the issue. We will investigate and, where statutory law requires it, provide a remedy consistent with that law.

4. Refunds we are required to process by Apple, Google, or a chargeback

If Apple, Google, or a card network grants a refund or chargeback against a purchase, the corresponding entitlement (cookbook unlock, credits, or subscription period) will be revoked from your Mium account. The associated author payout is also reversed under our partner program. We may suspend an account that engages in repeated chargeback abuse.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email before they take effect. The policy in force at the time of your purchase governs that purchase.
